### Features

Mailchimp supports the following features:

- Send current and future customer data to Mailchimp automatically.
- Trigger automations and manage audience tags in Mailchimp in response to activities such as purchases, subscriptions, or refunds
- Enhance their marketing by targeting segments based on historical data and spending

### Supported Connect types and funds flows

Mailchimp sync supports all Connect types and funds-flows, including Standard, Express, Custom, and Unified Accounts - with Direct Charges or Destination Charges and On-behalf-of.

The app synchronizes all relevant Stripe objects that exist on the connect account. The data is augmented by writing to metadata per the [metadata schema](https://docs.stripe.com/stripe-apps/embedded-apps.md?app-embedded-use-case=marketing#destination-obo).

- Direct (self-serve) user billing *or* platform billing options which retroactively charge the Connect platform based on user activity
