Connected account filters

Use filters to identify important groups of connected accounts.

The Connected accounts page includes a variety of filters to help you manage your accounts and identify accounts that require action.

Availability

Some filters are only available with certain features, and might not appear in your Dashboard.

Connected account filter definitions

Filterable metadata properties appear in the Metadata category at the end of the More filters list.

Account statusThe overall status of the account reflects whether primary capabilities are enabled, disabled, or paused soon.Default

Capability statusWhether the account has any capabilities in the selected statuses.Capability

Last activeThe last date on which the account experienced any of the following activity:
  • The account receives a payout.
  • The account accepts a payment.
  • The platform transfers a balance to the account.
  • The account tops up a balance.
  • The account logs into a Stripe-hosted Dashboard.

Negative balance liabilityWhether the platform or Stripe is responsible for the account’s negative balances.Properties
Next due dateThe next due date on the account, meaning the soonest date when a capability becomes inactive.Requirements
Onboarding statusWhether the account has completed onboarding. Specifically, this means the account application was submitted and details_submitted equals true.Account
Payment balanceThe current balance on the account. The balance is calculated as an equivalent of any currencies they have processed with, displaying a single balance in the platform’s default currency.Default
Payouts capability statusWhether the account’s payouts capability is active, paused, or paused soon.Capability
PlatformWhether the account is associated with a particular platform. This filter is only available for organizations.
Platform controlsWhether platform controls are enabled for the account.Properties
Rejected byWhether Stripe rejected the account.Risk management
Rejected onThe date the account was rejected or is scheduled for rejection, including any transition-out period for appeals.Risk management
Rejected reasonThe terms of service violation that led to Stripe rejecting the account.Risk management
Requirement collectionWhether the platform or Stripe is responsible for collecting updated requirements.Properties
Requirement statusThe status of the requirement, such as currently due, future, or eventually due.Requirements
Requirement triggerThe next threshold where an eventually due requirement transitions to currently due.Requirements

Treasury capability statusWhether the account’s treasury capability is active, paused, or paused soon.Capability
VolumeThe total volume the account has processed, displayed in the platform’s default currency. It includes the converted volume of amounts processed in other currencies. Connected accounts with access to the full Stripe Dashboard show “Unavailable” in this column, unless they have platform controls enabled. Filtering by volume always excludes accounts with unavailable volume data. To identify them, filter the list by platform controls.Default

Filter combinations

Here are some examples of useful filter combinations:

  • Accounts that have completed onboarding and still have outstanding requirements:
    Filter for Onboarding Status equals true and Capability status equals {currently_due}.
  • Restricted or restricted soon accounts with a balance:
    Click the Restricted Soon tab at the top of the page and filter by Balance greater than $1.
  • Filter by rejected reason, terms of service violation:
    Click the Rejected tab at the top of the page and filter by Rejection Reason for {any reason}.
