Review and take action on connected accounts
View connected accounts with open risk, onboarding, or compliance requirements.
The Connected accounts page in your Dashboard helps you monitor your account’s health. From there, you can:
- Proactively monitor your accounts: Monitor the status of your accounts with any open risk, onboarding, or verification requirements. View any current or upcoming risk and onboarding restrictions that affect your accounts.
- Identify the exact requirements needed: Understand an account status quickly, without needing to look through webhook logs. View clear instructions on how to resolve open requirements and take action.
- Filter accounts: Find and manage accounts with high risk signals or signs of fraudulent activity.
- Export a list of accounts: Download a CSV list of accounts, including remediation links that your accounts with open requirements can use to submit information and resolve issues.
View all accounts
The Connected accounts page in your Dashboard provides a list of all your connected accounts. You can see the number of accounts with a given status and sort and filter them to identify specific account groups.

To view the accounts in a particular status, select the corresponding tab:
Tab | Description |
---|---|
All | All connected accounts associated with the platform. |
Restricted | Accounts with at least one inactive capability. These accounts have open risk, onboarding, or verification requirements from Stripe or your platform. |
Restricted soon | Accounts with currently due risk or compliance requirements on their account. These accounts will have a capability paused at the upcoming due date. |
In review | Accounts where Stripe is reviewing the information provided by the platform or connected account. |
Rejected | Every account that has been rejected by Stripe or your platform. |
Enabled | Accounts in good standing with all primary capabilities enabled. These accounts might have requirements that are eventually due. |
Suggested filter sets | A specific view of your accounts that might be important to you. You can save this view. |
In each view, you have the ability to see relevant columns with information such as balance, volume, important dates, information needed, and so on.
Note
Stripe pauses some verifications for accounts that haven’t had activity in the last 540 days. Learn more about reviewing inactive accounts.
Edit columns
Each tab in the Connected accounts page has a default set of filters that you can edit to add, remove, or rearrange columns.
Use filters to help you find important accounts
The All tab displays all accounts unless you apply a filter to search for specific accounts. In each tab, you can customize the view with filters to narrow the list of connected accounts.
Here are the filter categories you can use:
- Account
- Capabilities
- Financials
- Risk management
- Requirements
For more information about filters, including definitions, see Connected account filters.
Note
The Total volume column displays “Unavailable” for connected accounts with Stripe Dashboard access where you don’t have platform controls enabled. Filtering by volume always excludes these accounts. You can identify these accounts by filtering the list by platform controls.
Filter for accounts requiring additional information on business model review
To enable Stripe’s services, your business must comply with Stripe’s Terms of Service regarding supported business types, products, and industries. Stripe might require additional information to determine if your business is supported. In that case, the requirement appears in the Actions required section of the Connected account details page.
Suggested views
Stripe provides various view suggestions to help you filter groups of accounts that might be important to your business. You can use the existing filters or modify them to filter for a specific group of accounts.
Export a list of accounts
To download a CSV list of all accounts in the current view, click Export in the top-right corner of the page. It opens a dialog that lets you select the fields to include from the following list:
- ID
- Account Type
- Business Type
- Default currency
- Country
- Connected on Date (UTC)
- Transfers Capability Fields Required
- Card Payments Capability Fields Required
By default, we don’t generate remediation links with exports. Include this in the download if you plan to send remediation links to your connected accounts. Adding remediation links increases the export time.
Use Stripe Sigma to identify accounts with open requirements
If you use Stripe Sigma, you can identify accounts that have open requirements
or future_
. For information about querying for Connect information with Sigma, see Query Connect data.
Review individual accounts
To investigate the open requirements for an account on the connected accounts list view, click the account to open the Connected account details page with an Actions required list at the top, where you can identify specific requirements and take action. This list doesn’t appear if there aren’t any actionable requirements on the account.

Review and appeal unsupported connected accounts
If Stripe can’t support your connected account or requires more information, you can review or submit an appeal from the Dashboard.
- To find these accounts, navigate to Rejected to view the date of rejection and the reason.
- If you want to appeal the decision, click on the account to open the Connected account details page. If there’s an option to appeal, Actions Required displays a row.
- Depending on the exact information required, you can:
- Send a remediation link to your connected account so they can submit the information.
- Submit the information yourself on behalf of your connected account.
