Adds the ability to relink deactivated Financial Connections AccountsPublic preview

What’s new

You can now use the relink_options parameter when creating a Financial Connections Session to enable the reconnection of deactivated Financial Connections Accounts and, if applicable, their Tokenised Account Numbers.

Two configuration options are available:

• Pass relink_options.authorization to relink all Financial Connections Accounts that belong to a specific Financial Connections Authorisation.
• Pass both relink_options.authorization and relink_options.account to relink a specific Financial Connections Account.

Financial Connections Account and Financial Connections Authorisation resources include a status_details property. You can use the status_details.inactive.action property to determine whether a Financial Connections Account or Financial Connections Authorisation can be relinked.

Completed sessions now include the relink_result property to indicate whether the user relinked the expected authorisation or failed to complete the authentication flow.

When the authentication flow completes successfully:

• The Financial Connections Authorisation and its associated accounts return to an active status.
• The Financial Connections Accounts for previously-deactivated Tokenised Account Numbers return to a transactable status.

Impact

You can now relink Financial Connections Accounts when they become deactivated due to authentication issues or account changes at the financial institution.
