Adds Mollie as a supported iDEAL issuer

What’s new

Mollie is now a supported issuer for customers making iDEAL payments in the Netherlands. When your customers select iDEAL as their payment method, they can choose Mollie from the list of available banks and financial institutions to complete their payment.

This addition expands the options available to your customers as they complete their bank transfers through the iDEAL payment network.

Impact

When your customers select iDEAL as their payment method, Mollie now appears automatically in the list of available issuers, with no changes required to your integration. Your existing error handling and payment flow logic also remain unchanged.

To support this addition, you can do the following:

  • Test your checkout flow to verify that Mollie appears as an available issuer.
  • Update any customer-facing documentation or help materials that to include Mollie in your list of list available iDEAL issuers.
  • Monitor payment completion rates to track adoption of Mollie as a new issuer option.
  • Consider highlighting the expanded iDEAL options in your customer communications, if relevant to your customer base.
