Specialized risk and compliance controls
As a Verified platform, you gain increased control over risk and compliance for you and your connected accounts.
Extend due dates
As a Verified platform, you can extend the due dates of certain requirements for your connected accounts. This feature allows you to give your connected account more time to provide the information that Stripe requested, or to appeal a Stripe decision. You can do so while keeping some or all the connected account’s capabilities (for example, payments, payouts, and so on) enabled for a longer period of time.
You can extend eligible due dates through the Stripe Dashboard, either before or after the initial due date. Use the Extend due dates button on the Account details page to extend eligible due dates.

You can only extend some due dates. You can’t extend some due dates because of regulatory requirements, critical risk factors, or immediate risks to Stripe or other users. Additionally, you can only extend a due date one time. The Stripe Dashboard clearly indicates which due dates you can extend and for how long, and provides explanations for those that you can’t extend.
Customize onboarding requirements
With Verified for platforms, you can access a control that allows you to collect eventually_
requirements across all Stripe onboarding and remediation interfaces. A single setting in the Stripe Dashboard now allows you to collect all KYC and KYB information up front, rather than disrupt your connected accounts with additional information requests after onboarding.
Benefits for your connected accounts
Benefits for your connected accounts are tailored to your business needs, and can include the following:
Fewer paused capabilities
For Verified platforms that own negative balance liability and have connected accounts with high average order values, we customize our fraud models to account for your connected accounts’ transaction patterns. If there are any fraud concerns, we send you an email with a link to more information.
Higher ACH payment limits
For Verified platforms with connected accounts that frequently use ACH payments and experience variable cash flow, your connected accounts have higher limits relative to their current ACH payment usage. We also proactively monitor their transactions and work with you to raise ACH payment limits when needed.
Faster onboarding reviews
Verified platforms that onboard businesses of the same type have faster onboarding reviews, minimizing potential disruptions to your connected accounts’ capabilities.
Benefits for your platform account
Benefits for your platform account include:
- Personalized monitoring to support your growth
- Enhanced protections to minimize business disruptions
- Expert help when you need it
