# Stripe profiles Create a public identity for your business on Stripe. A Stripe profile is your business’s public identity on Stripe. With a Stripe profile, businesses can find, verify, and connect with each other on Stripe. Creating a Stripe profile lets you: - Input basic business information once and use it across Stripe. - Publish selected charts and metrics. - [Sell through agents](https://docs.stripe.com/agentic-commerce/for-sellers.md) using the Agentic Commerce Suite. > #### Country availability > > Stripe profiles are *not* available in India. ## Manage your profile To create a new Stripe profile or update an existing Stripe profile (including profiles created when sharing business metrics), follow these steps: 1. In the Stripe Dashboard, go to **[Stripe profile](https://dashboard.stripe.com/profiles)**, then click **Get started**. 2. Enter a display name and profile handle (username), then click **Create profile**. 3. Click **Review profile** to fill in your profile information, including optional fields to help others identify your business. Only include details you’re comfortable making public. 4. (Optional) To hide your profile from other businesses, turn on **Make your profile private**. If you do so, you can’t share business metrics. 5.
