SaaS platforms embed payments and financial services directly into their platform. This includes offering features like Checkout, Invoicing, and lending within their SaaS solution, opening up new revenue opportunities by offering additional features for their businesses. SaaS platforms can join the Stripe Partner Ecosystem at two tiers: Verified Partners gain access to curated, on-demand resources and revenue sharing, while Premier Partners enjoy additional advisory services, enhanced support, and market development funds (MDF).

Verified Partner and Premier Partner requirements

Verfied Partners need to meet the following SaaS platform technical and business requirements:

  • Use Stripe Connect to access Stripe accounts and data
  • Has set up Stripe webhook endpoints for Connect events
  • Use Payment Intents
  • Minimum of $1M in payment volume
  • Landing page describing your Stripe integration (recommended; not required)
  • Use of idempotency keys (recommended; not required)
  • Use Stripe Checkout or Payment Element to tokenize payment information (recommended; not required)

Stripe Connect revenue sharing program

Partners in the SaaS platform track using Stripe Connect are eligible for the revenue sharing program, which enables your company to grow as your customers expand with Stripe.

Design guides

Access guides to organize effective payments teams, develop a successful revenue model, and ensure a smooth rollout of your embedded payments and financial services solutions.

Transaction cost management guides

Access expert advice for managing your transaction costs by optimizing network costs, understanding authorization rates, and detecting fraud. Understand your network costs structure and optimizations for cost+ pricing. Learn about card authorization rates and network declines. Develop your fraud management strategy by accessing best practices to detect and prevent fraud, understanding fintech fraud, and managing fraudulent transactions.

Product-specific launch recommendations

Assess your readiness to launch new embedded solutions with recommendations to guide your technical, operational, and go-to-market strategies.

Market

Accelerate your time-to-market with product marketing resources, prebuilt campaigns, and marketing insights to drive demand for your solutions. Premier Partners are eligible for tailored advisory, market development funds, and joint case studies.

Segmentation and joint value proposition guidance

Identify your target segments for your embedded payments and financial services within your base. Develop your ideal customer profile and a joint value proposition to inform your messaging strategy.

Templates and other resources

Market with Stripe using our campaigns in a box and product marketing toolkits. Stripe provides resources for partners such as messaging frameworks, templated blogs, emails, and social content that you can customize to launch integrated campaigns that drive demand.

Sponsorship and speaking opportunities

We may invite select partners to participate in speaking opportunities at Stripe events to increase their visibility among Stripe sellers and customers.

Stripe partner badge and co-branding guidelines

Partners can download the Stripe Verified Partner badge or the Stripe Premier Partner badge from the partner portal. These badges can be used externally to promote our partnership and to amplify your listing in the partner directory. Stripe provides partners with complete guidelines on co-branding with Stripe.

Directory listing

The Stripe partner directory listing provides Stripe partners with the opportunity to promote their company and relationship with Stripe. The company details page can help drive leads and build awareness of their solutions or services.

Tailored marketing advisory workshops

Premier Partners are eligible to receive marketing advisory with the Stripe marketing team to discuss insights, best practices, and receive recommendations about how to improve their acquisition, activation, and lifecycle marketing strategies. Partners can request market development funds (MDF) to cover the cost of marketing activities recommended from the workshop.

Request market development funds (MDF)

Premier Partners can request MDF to help fund the cost of co-marketing activities that generate demand for their embedded payments and financial services. Examples of eligible activities include integrated marketing campaigns, paid media, and digital and in-person customer-facing events. To be eligible to request MDF, partners must be in the Premier Partner tier and have attended a marketing advisory workshop.

Joint customer case studies and social media highlights

We may invite Premier Partners to participate in a joint case study to showcase how we worked together to solve a user’s business challenge. Reach out to your account executive if you have a story you’d like to nominate for consideration. Premier Partners are eligible to be featured across Stripe social media channels, including our LinkedIn page, and have their message amplified to Stripe’s businesses and community.

Sell

Help deals close faster with sales enablement resources and co-selling support.

Deal registration

Partners can submit a referral to Stripe or they can co-sell with Stripe to close opportunities. You can use three channels for deal registration: submit referrals through the partner portal, bulk upload files with up to 50 leads, or register deals through an ungated lead form. Partners can also track the progress of a deal through the partner portal.

Sales enablement and payments education for sellers

Stripe partners can access sales materials, including pitch decks, discovery guides, and objection handling guidance to drive conversion with their prospective customers.

Scale

Optimize user experiences and manage costs as you expand and fuel new growth with additional solutions across more markets.

Guides for optimizing support and risk experiences

Review curated guides from Stripe experts to help optimize your user experiences across verifications, support operations, and risk management. Address the most common support questions and access guides to developing a risk management strategy centered on your target audience.

Partner awards

Our partner awards recognize select Stripe partners who lead the way with customer solutions through Stripe and showcase their Stripe expertise.

Reactive support

Premier Partners can access a new service level designed to provide priority, context-aware support and the fastest reactive support that Stripe offers.

Payments and support optimization workshops

Premier Partners can receive periodic proactive engagements through a scaled technical account manager to review supportability and technical health and a scaled customer success manager to review your payments health, fraud rates, and authorization rates.
