# Best practices for global invoices

Learn the best practices for setting up invoices in non-US regions.

The invoice compliance process can vary across countries. Stripe recommends the following best practices when you make sales to business customers because Business-to-Business (B2B) sales require compliant invoices. Business-to-Consumer (B2C) sales don’t generally require invoices.
