Adds PayPal country property to the PaymentMethods and Charge objects
What’s new
Adds the country property for PayPal to the Payment Methods and Charge resources:
- For Payment Methods, in the paypal hash.
- For Charges, in the payment_method_details.paypal hash.
Impact
The country property represents the buyer’s country, which PayPal provides (if supported) at the time of authorization or settlement. You can’t set or mutate it. With this change, you can now retrieve the country value from either:
- A customer’s PayPal PaymentMethod
- A transaction paid using PayPal
