# Stripe app for Oracle Simphony

Use the app to integrate Stripe Terminal into Oracle Simphony.

The Stripe app for Oracle Simphony allows retailers that use Oracle Simphony as their point-of-sale (POS) system to accept in-person payments using Stripe. After you set up and configure the app within your Simphony environment, you can use [Stripe Terminal](https://docs.stripe.com/terminal.md) devices to process in-person payments. All transactions processed through this system link directly to your Stripe account.

The Stripe app for Simphony allows you to perform actions such as:

- Process sales transactions
- Issue refunds
- Void or reverse transactions
- Collect customer information
- Perform incremental authorisations
- Collect surcharges

## Set up Terminal devices in your Stripe account

The app uses the [Java integration](https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/payments/setup-integration.md) to collect payments on your behalf. Make sure to complete the pre-requisites above.
