# Install the app

Install the app for Oracle Opera

Use the Stripe app for Oracle Opera to collect in-person payments with Stripe Terminal.

## Download the app

To begin, [contact Sales](https://stripe.com/contact/sales) to get access to the app.

## Install the app

1. Double-click the installer to open the Stripe Oracle Opera setup wizard.
2. In the wizard, click **Next**.
3. Review and accept the End-User License Agreement, and click **Next**.
4. On the **Destination Folder** screen, use the default folder or specify another folder, and click **Next**.
5. To begin the installation, click **Install**.
6. When the installation completes, click **Finish**.

If you’re upgrading from a previous version of the app, uninstall the existing version and remove its cached data before you run the installer. See [Install a new version](https://docs.stripe.com/use-stripe-apps/oracle/opera/troubleshooting.md#install-a-new-version) for the removal steps.

> Install and configure the app 1–5 days before your scheduled cutover to Stripe as your payment service provider (PSP). This gives you time to test the integration end to end before your Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) migration.
