Stripe’s Accelerator apps for Guidewire integrate Stripe’s payment processing and acceptance capabilities directly into Guidewire’s insurance platform, providing support for modern payment methods and workflows.
Get the apps
The Stripe Apps for Guidewire are available on the Guidewire Marketplace for Guidewire BillingCenter and Guidewire ClaimCenter. To get started, download the apps from the marketplace and follow the installation instructions.
System requirements
Before you install the Stripe Accelerator apps for Guidewire BillingCenter or ClaimCenter, make sure your system meets the following requirements:
- Guidewire Platform: Your Guidewire BillingCenter and ClaimCenter instances must be on Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) or on-premises version 10.x or higher.
- Stripe Account: You need a Stripe account to process payments. If you don’t have one, you can sign up for free.
Installation and configuration
After downloading the apps from the Guidewire Marketplace, follow these steps to install and configure them in your Guidewire system:
- Install the apps: Follow the installation guide provided with the marketplace app download to deploy the apps to your Guidewire environment.
- Configure Stripe settings: In your Guidewire system, navigate to the Stripe configuration page and enter your Stripe Publishable and Secret API keys from the Stripe Dashboard. This links your Guidewire instance to your Stripe account.
- Set up payment methods: Configure the payment methods you want to offer to your policyholders. Stripe supports a wide range of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and various local payment options.
- Customize the UI: You can customize the payment UI to match your brand and business requirements. This includes the look and feel of the payment page, the payment confirmation, and receipt emails.
