# Stripe app for Cegid

Use the app to integrate Stripe Terminal into Cegid.

The Stripe app for Cegid allows retailers that use the Cegid POS to accept in-person payments using Stripe. After you set up and configure the app within your environment, you can use [Stripe Terminal](https://docs.stripe.com/terminal.md) devices to process on-site payments. All transactions processed through this system link directly to your Stripe account.

## Before you begin

- [Order](https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/fleet/order-and-return-readers.md) an internet-connected Terminal device.
- [Create a location](https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/fleet/locations-and-zones.md) for your device.

## Set up Terminal devices in your Stripe account

The app uses an [SDK-driven integration](https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/payments/setup-integration.md) to collect payments on your behalf. Make sure to complete the prerequisites above and then use the location ID when you [configure](https://docs.stripe.com/use-stripe-apps/cegid/configuration.md) the app.
