# Install the app

Install the Stripe app for Aptos One

Use the Stripe app for Aptos One (Payment Sidecar app) to collect in-person payments with Stripe Terminal. The Stripe app for Aptos One runs alongside your Aptos One Store Selling App (SSA) on the same Android or iOS device.

## Get access to the app

To begin, [contact Sales](https://stripe.com/contact/sales) to get access to the Stripe app for Aptos One.

## Install the app

After you receive access to the Stripe app for Aptos One, install it on each device that runs the Aptos One SSA:

1. Distribute the Stripe app for Aptos One to your devices using your mobile device management (MDM) solution, or install it directly from the distribution package provided by Stripe.
1. Verify that the app appears on your device alongside the Aptos One SSA.
1. Make sure the device is running Aptos One SSA version 3.94.5 or later.

> You must install the Stripe app for Aptos One on the *same device* as the Aptos One SSA. It communicates with Aptos One through a URL scheme and can’t run on a separate device.

## Launch the app for the first time

When you first launch the Stripe app for Aptos One, it automatically starts a guided setup process (bootstrap flow) that leads you through the required configuration steps. You must complete this setup before the app can process payments.
