# Stripe Reader T600 accessories

## T-bridge 

Stripe Reader T600 relies on USB Power Delivery (PD) to negotiate the correct voltage and power. Unlike other readers, T600 doesn’t have a battery to provide supplemental power.

The T-bridge is a devkit accessory for development environments where you need to connect the reader to a laptop (for example, Android Debug Bridge (adb) access). Not all laptops can provide the required PD power. The T-bridge connects an AC adapter to the **PD Input** port and allows a development machine to connect to the **PC/Mac** port while communicating with the reader.

A powered USB hub such as ([this example hub](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095YKQBHM)) provides the same functionality. Devkit device types include T-bridges. Remove the reader packaging tray to find the T-bridge underneath.

## Reader Hub 

The Reader Hub provides drop-in I/O expansion to your POS configuration. The 10/100M LAN port provides physical Ethernet connectivity. The Reader Hub has 2x USB-A ports if you need USB connectivity between the reader and peripheral devices such as cash drawers, printers, or barcode scanners. The communication ports on the hub are activated when the Stripe Reader T600 is connected to the hub. Use of alternative hubs might result in unreliable communication with the Stripe Reader T600.

> The Reader Hub doesn’t connect your POS to peripheral devices, such as a barcode scanner or printer. It connects peripheral devices to your reader generally used for [Apps on Devices](https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/features/apps-on-devices/overview.md) development.

The Reader Hub provides power to Stripe Reader T600 and connected peripherals through a built-in 6 foot USB-C cable. We recommend using the power adapter supplied with Stripe Reader T600 for full power capabilities. If you need an additional or replacement power adapter, order one in the [Stripe Dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/terminal/shop).

The Reader Hub can provide a total of one accessory shared between the two USB-A ports. Accessories that require high power, such as printers, must have their own power source. Different devices such as cell phones might require different charging protocols that aren’t supported by the Reader Hub.

## T600 power adapter and USB-C cable 

Stripe Reader T600 includes a region-specific AC-to-USB-C power adapter. You can replace the adapter or order an additional adapter in the [Stripe Dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/terminal/shop).

Stripe Reader T600 also ships with a USB-C cable. You can replace the cable or order an additional cable in the [Dashboard](https://dashboard.stripe.com/terminal/shop).

## T600 Stand 

If you want to mount your reader vertically, you can remove the countertop base with four screws to reveal a 75mm x 75mm VESA footprint. Any stand with this VESA footprint is compatible with the reader.
