# Review Revenue Recognition activity

Review changes to your Revenue Recognition configuration and data imports.

> Revenue Recognition activity logs are in public preview and gradually rolling out to eligible accounts. Your activity history begins when you get access to the public preview. Stripe doesn’t backfill earlier activity.

Track updates to your Revenue Recognition configuration and data imports. Each activity log entry shows the action, who or what initiated it, and when it occurred. Use this history to investigate changes that might affect your revenue reports.

### Early access to Revenue Recognition activity logs

Enter your email to express interest in the public preview.

```bash
curl https://docs.stripe.com/preview/register \
  -X POST \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "Referer: https://docs.stripe.com/revenue-recognition/activity-logs" \
  -d '{"email": "EMAIL", "preview": "revenue_recognition_activity_logs"}'
```

## View activity

Go to the [Revenue Recognition activity page](https://dashboard.stripe.com/revenue-recognition/activity-logs) in the Dashboard to see the activity list.

The activity list shows these details for each recorded change:

- **Action**: The action recorded in the activity log.
- **Category**: The Revenue Recognition area affected by the action.
- **Changed by**: The user’s email address or **Stripe support**, when applicable.
- **Date and Time**: When the activity occurred, in your account’s time zone.

Select an action to view these additional details when available:

- **Source**: Whether the action came from the Dashboard, a Stripe support tool, or a system process.
- **Activity ID**: The unique identifier for the activity entry.
- **Resource ID**: The identifier of the resource affected by the activity.

### Filter activity

To filter the activity list, click **Filter**. Use the **Date**, **Category**, and **Changed by** filters. For **Changed by**, choose **Team member** and enter their email address, or choose **Stripe support**.

## Export activity

1. Go to the [Revenue Recognition activity page](https://dashboard.stripe.com/revenue-recognition/activity-logs).
2. Select **Export**.
3. Choose a date range and the columns to include, then select **Export** to export a CSV file.

By default, the CSV includes **Time**, **Action**, **Category**, **User**, and **Source**. You can also include **Activity ID**, **Resource ID**, and **Resource Type**.

The CSV is localized to your Dashboard language and uses your account’s time zone. It includes up to 5,000 activity entries and retains the filters applied to the activity list.

## Changes recorded in activity logs

Activity logs cover the following Revenue Recognition categories:

- [Settings](https://docs.stripe.com/revenue-recognition/revenue-settings.md)
- [Rules](https://docs.stripe.com/revenue-recognition/rules.md)
- [General ledger accounts](https://docs.stripe.com/revenue-recognition/chart-of-accounts.md)

## Check when changes appear

Activity entries typically appear almost immediately, but can take up to one hour to appear. The time shown on an entry is when the activity occurred.

Report updates follow a separate processing schedule. For example, changes to rules or chart of accounts mappings can take up to 24 hours to appear in historical report data. For report timing and other exceptions, see [Revenue Recognition data freshness](https://docs.stripe.com/revenue-recognition/data-freshness.md).
