# Financial account report type

Reconcile your Financial account balance and download your categorized transaction history.

Use Financial account reports to analyze activity that impacts your financial account balance and view data related to your payments activity. The Balance summary section displays your starting and ending Stripe balance for the selected date range. You can view a detailed list of your transactions by [reporting category](https://docs.stripe.com/reports/reporting-categories.md) in the **Balance change from activity** section, including all transactions that affect your balance. These reports help you understand your payments activity and allow you to include the data in your API calls.

You can also download the CSV from the Financial account report in the Dashboard.
