Fees reportPublic preview
View transaction and product fees charged by Stripe and other networks.
The Fees report provides a list of all the fees taken from your Stripe balance, Fee credits balance and Financial Accounts. It includes fees charged by Stripe, networks and external partners for your use of Stripe products and services. You can view a summary or an itemised report at transaction level, including attribution details. You can access fee data in this report 96 hours after a fee affects your balance.
Note
This report covers most fees impacting your Stripe Balance, Credits Balance and Financial Accounts, including all fees paid through any Stripe balance. However, it excludes certain exceptions such as Terminal device purchases, Stripe Capital fees, Atlas fees and any post-paid invoiced fees.
You can access the Fees Report using the Stripe Dashboard, the Reporting API or by using the Sigma itemised fees table. Fee reporting is available starting from January 2022.
To view the report, go to the Fees report in the Dashboard and select a date range using the report filters and settings.
Detailed fee reporting
You can view transaction-level fees by accessing an itemised version of the report, which allows for reporting on fees down to the specific transaction level. If you’re looking for fees related to a particular charge or payout, you can filter by the incurred_ column to see an itemised list.
Report reconciliation
Reconciling the Fees Report with other Stripe reports maintains accuracy. You can reconcile it with the Balance Summary and Balance Activity reports by filtering based on transaction dates. Keep in mind that the Balance Summary might not subtract revenue share from its total fees, which can lead to discrepancies.
Download data
To download the data in each section of the report as a CSV file, click Download in the report filters and settings. You can download the data in these formats:
- Summary: The data downloads in CSV format, exactly as you see it in the Dashboard.
- Itemised: The data downloads as a list of transaction-level fees that are summarised in the Dashboard.
Note
If your export is too big and you can’t open it in a spreadsheet, you can limit your export to specific products, reducing the number of rows in the export.
