# Dynamically update line items

Update line items in response to changes made during checkout.

The full embedded page doesn’t support dynamically updating line items. To dynamically update line items, use the [embedded form](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/checkout/dynamically-update-line-items.md?payment-ui=checkout-form) or [Elements with the Checkout Sessions API](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/advanced/dynamically-update-line-items.md) instead.
