# Collect Financial Connections consent in your own flow

Display Stripe-issued consent text before launching Financial Connections.

If approved, your business can display Stripe-issued Financial Connections consent text in your own UI before launching Financial Connections. Stripe evaluates the consent evidence and either omits its consent pane or displays the Stripe-hosted consent pane as a fallback.

> This capability is in private preview and available by invitation only. Stripe contacts eligible users directly. Stripe must approve your business and complete the required agreement before you can use it.

You create a [Consent](https://docs.stripe.com/api/financial_connections/consents/object.md?api-version=preview) on your server, display its complete text on your client, record the time when your customer accepts it, and pass that evidence when you launch Financial Connections.

Providing `preCollectedConsent` doesn’t guarantee that Stripe omits its consent pane. Stripe evaluates the evidence on the server. If the evidence is missing or rejected, the Financial Connections flow continues and displays the Stripe-hosted consent pane.
