# Use stablecoins in Financial Accounts Learn how to receive, store, and send stablecoins using your Financial Account balance. Financial Accounts let you receive payments, store balances, manage expenses, and send funds globally using *stablecoins* (A cryptocurrency that's pegged to the value of a fiat currency or other asset in order to limit volatility) or fiat currencies. On the [**Balances**](https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/overview) overview, click **Add funds**. 1. Click **Bank transfer**. 1. Copy the required account information, then complete the transfer through your bank. ### Add from a crypto wallet 1. On the [**Balances**](https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/overview) overview, click **Add funds**. 1. Click **Crypto transfer**. 1. Select a crypto network. 1. Copy the wallet address or scan the QR code with your crypto wallet. 1. Click **Done**. ## Recurring transfers You can set up automatic recurring transfers from your [payments balance](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/balances.md#payments-balance) to your financial account, on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. 1. On the [**Balances**](https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/overview) overview, click the financial account you want to receive the funds. 1. Click **Recurring transfers**. 1. Under **Payout schedule**, click **Automatic payouts**, then select a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. 1. Click **Save**. 1. Under **Payout destinations**, select **Transfer all revenue to your financial account**. - You can opt to **Transfer a target amount to your financial account** instead. If you select this option, enter a recurring amount to transfer. Any remaining funds in your payments balance are sent to an external account if linked. 1. Click **Save**. In your financial account, the **Recurring transfers** status changes to **On**. It takes 1-2 business days for the changes to take effect. ## Transfer from your stablecoin balance You can withdraw money from your stablecoin balance to your external bank account or crypto wallet. 1. On the [Balances](https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/overview) overview, click **Transfer**. 1. Select the external account to transfer to or create a new one. For bank transfers, the amount automatically updates based on current exchange rates. 1. Click **Review** to check the details and cost breakdown of the transfer, then click **Transfer**. ## Pay out from your stablecoin balance You can pay out money to other people or businesses from your stablecoin balance. You need their bank account or crypto wallet information to complete the transfer. 1. On the [Balances](https://dashboard.stripe.com/balance/overview) overview, click **Send**. 1. Select an existing recipient or create a new one. If you create a new recipient, you can choose which payout methods to add. You can also update this on the **Directory** page. 1. Select the external account to transfer to. For bank transfers, the amount automatically updates based on current exchange rates. Most of the participating countries are in the European Union and have euro-based economies, but this is not a requirement) | 1 (US only) ### Currency conversion If a payout or transfer from your stablecoin balance involves a currency conversion, Stripe displays an estimate of the amount that we’ll deposit in the recipient currency. You can see your balance currency by clicking the information icon next to your balance. - Both USDC and USDB are pegged to USD at a 1:1 ratio. - USDB is an infrastructure or “closed-loop” stablecoin issued by Bridge. It’s always backed 1:1 by the equivalent value of USD held in cash and short-duration money market funds with [BlackRock](https://www.blackrock.com).
