# Accounts API Argument Changes

This page maps old Accounts API arguments to the new argument names.

Individuals and companies used to share many of the same arguments. With the new [Persons API](https://docs.stripe.com/api/persons.md) and other changes, many of these arguments now have new names specific to individuals and companies. Existing [Account](https://docs.stripe.com/api/accounts.md) arguments that have not changed aren’t listed on this page.
