# Platform tax reporting dashboard (non-US)

View and filter sellers to help prepare your reports for tax authorities.

## View and filter sellers

If you have the Administrator or Tax Analyst user role, you can view all the sellers associated with your connected account using the [Tax reporting](https://dashboard.stripe.com/connect/taxes/forms) dashboard. Click the appropriate tab for the jurisdiction that you want to view.

You can apply any of the existing filters to limit the results to only those records that match the filter criteria. For example, to display only records for a specific seller, choose the **Seller name** filter and then enter all or part of a name to match. The records displayed include only the records for sellers with seller names that match the string you used for the filter.

You can use the following filters to display sellers:

| Filter name | Filter values |
| --- | --- |
| Tax Year (non-AU) | The tax year that reporting is relevant for |
| Tax Period (AU-only) | The tax period that reporting is relevant for |
| Country (EU-only) | Tax reporting entries for the selected country |
| Filing status | Status of tax form: Won’t file, Needs attention, Ready, Exported, Filed, or Rejected |
| Business type | Type of seller: Individual, Entity |
| Activity type | Type of reportable activity: Personal services, Sale of goods, Transportation rental |
| Stripe merchant ID | Tax reporting entries for the specified merchant ID |
| Seller name | Tax reporting entries for the specific seller name |
| TIN status | TIN status: Collected, Failed validation, Validated, Not applicable, Not provided, Pending, Platform provided, Verification failed, Verified |
| VAT status | VAT status: Collected, Failed validation, Validated, Not applicable, Not provided, Pending, Platform provided, Verification failed, Verified |
| BRN status | BRN status: Collected, Failed validation, Validated, Not applicable, Not provided, Pending, Platform provided, Verification failed, Verified |
| Email address | Tax reporting entries with the specified email address |
| Standalone sellers | Filter for standalone entries: All standalone sellers, No standalone sellers |

## Understand the filing status

Stripe automatically calculates the overall status for each tax form, and allows you to apply filing requirements for each entry as appropriate.

| Status | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Filed | You included this seller when you submitted the report to the appropriate tax authority. Unless the report gets rejected or needs a correction, this is a terminal state. |
| Exported | You included this seller in a generated report to submit to the tax authority that’s awaiting filing. |
| Needs attention | This seller’s volume is above the filing threshold, but has missing or malformed [required information](https://docs.stripe.com/connect/platform-tax-reporting/missing-information.md#identify-and-address-forms-that-need-attention). |
| Ready | This seller’s volume is above the filing threshold and ready for filing. |
| Rejected | You included this seller in a report that was rejected by the tax authorities. For the 2024 tax season, this value is provided by you, the platform. |
| Won’t file | This seller won’t be included in a report because its volume is below the filing threshold. Or, this seller was overridden and won’t be filed. |

## Understand TIN, VAT, BRN status 

Platforms need valid identity numbers on the tax forms to make sure that the tax authority accepts the forms, and Stripe displays the status as follows:

| Status | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Verified | ID number has been verified against a database. |
| Verification Failed | Verification was attempted and ID number didn’t match the records. |
| Platform provided | Platform has overwritten the ID number. |
| Pending | Verification was attempted, but the result is still pending. |
| Not provided | ID number is required, but hasn’t been provided. |
| Not applicable | The ID number isn’t required and hasn’t been provided. |
| Format validated | The format of the ID number was validated. Verification against the name wasn’t initiated. |
| Format incorrect | The format of the ID number failed validation. Verification against the name wasn’t initiated. |
| Collected | The ID number was collected. Neither format validation nor verification against the name were initiated. |
