# Renames the wire network value to fedwire for Financial Address credit simulations

## What’s new

Renames the `wire` enum value to `fedwire` for the [network](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/financial-addresses/credit.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview#v2_credit_financial_addresses-network) parameter on the [Financial Address credit simulation](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/financial-addresses/credit.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview) endpoint. The `fedwire` value represents Fedwire transfers in the US, and aligns with the corresponding `network` values on Financial Addresses and Received Credits.

The endpoint accepts both `wire` and `fedwire` for backward compatibility.

## Impact

If your integration sets `network` to `wire` when simulating a Financial Address credit in a sandbox, update it to use `fedwire`. The `wire` value is deprecated. For the complete simulation workflow, see [Fund your financial account](https://docs.stripe.com/treasury/add-funds.md).
