# Updates the Received Credits v2 API shape

## What’s new

Updates the [Received Credits v2](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview) API with breaking changes to the [bank_transfer](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview#v2_received_credit_object-bank_transfer) hash:

- Removes `us_bank_account`, `gb_bank_account`, and `sepa_bank_account`.
- Uses the [bank_transfer.originating_bank_account](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview#v2_received_credit_object-bank_transfer-originating_bank_account), which has a credential-based structure with `aba`, `iban`, and `sort_code` sub-types.

## Why is this a breaking change?

Removes country-specific bank account properties. Before upgrading, update your integration if it reads `us_bank_account`, `gb_bank_account`, or `sepa_bank_account`.

## Impact

If your integration uses the Received Credits API, replace any code that reads [us_bank_account](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-09-30.preview#v2_received_credit_object-bank_transfer-us_bank_account), [gb_bank_account](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-09-30.preview#v2_received_credit_object-bank_transfer-gb_bank_account), or [sepa_bank_account](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-09-30.preview#v2_received_credit_object-bank_transfer-sepa_bank_account) on the `bank_transfer` hash with [bank_transfer.originating_bank_account](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview#v2_received_credit_object-bank_transfer-originating_bank_account).
