# Adds support for EUR currency and SEPA networks to Financial Addresses

## What’s new

Adds `eur` as a supported value for [bank_account.currency](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/financial-addresses/create.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview#v2_create_financial_addresses-bank_account-currency) when you [create a Financial Address](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/financial-addresses/create.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview). In addition to `gbp` and `usd`, you can now create Financial Addresses with IBAN credentials to receive euro transfers through the SEPA network.

Also renames the `sepa_credit_transfer` network value to `sepa` for [Financial Addresses](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/financial-addresses/object.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview) and [Received Credits](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview). The `sepa_credit_transfer` value is no longer supported.

## Why is this a breaking change?

The `sepa_credit_transfer` network enum value is now `sepa`. If your integration sends or checks for `sepa_credit_transfer`, update it to use `sepa`. Requests that use the old value fail, and comparisons against it no longer match.

## Impact

If your [money management](https://docs.stripe.com/money-management.md) integration creates [Financial Addresses](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/financial-addresses.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview), set the currency to `eur` to receive euro transfers through SEPA. Replace all references to the `sepa_credit_transfer` network value with `sepa`. This change applies to both request parameters and response values. Update any code that sets the [network](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/financial-addresses/credit.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview#v2_credit_financial_addresses-network) request parameter or reads the [network](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/money-management/received-credits/object.md?api-version=2026-10-28.preview#v2_received_credit_object-bank_transfer-network) response property.
