# Shows pending-authorization UI for MB WAY, Bizum, and BLIK with stripe.handleNextAction

## What’s new

Adds pending-authorization instructions to [stripe.handleNextAction](https://docs.stripe.com/js/payment_intents/handle_next_action) when a customer needs to approve an MB WAY payment in the MB WAY app or a Bizum or BLIK payment in their bank’s mobile app. Previously, `stripe.handleNextAction` waited for authorization without displaying this UI. This change makes its behavior consistent with `stripe.confirmPayment`.

## Why is this a breaking change?

If your integration displays its own MB WAY, Bizum, or BLIK authorization instructions while `stripe.handleNextAction` is pending, customers might see both your instructions and Stripe’s modal. Previous Stripe.js major versions retain the existing behavior. Remove or adjust any custom pending-authorization UI when upgrading to avoid showing duplicate instructions.

## Impact

Customers receive instructions to open the MB WAY app or their bank’s mobile app for Bizum and BLIK and approve the payment while Stripe.js waits for authorization. This prevents checkout from appearing unresponsive and reduces the need for integrations to implement payment-method-specific authorization messaging. When upgrading, remove or adjust custom pending-authorization UI to avoid duplicate instructions.
