# Adds Failed Tax Calculation error

## What’s new

Introduces a new error code and message that’s returned when automatic tax fails to calculate.

This change affects the following APIs:

## Impact

If your integration handles specific error codes from APIs with automatic tax, you must update your error handling logic to also handle the `failed_tax_calculation` error code, which indicates that the tax calculation couldn’t be completed.
