# Returns specific decline codes for BLIK payment failures

## What’s new

Replaces the [generic_decline](https://docs.stripe.com/declines/codes.md#generic_decline) decline code with [code_invalid](https://docs.stripe.com/declines/codes.md#code-invalid), [code_expired](https://docs.stripe.com/declines/codes.md#code-expired), [insufficient_funds](https://docs.stripe.com/declines/codes.md#partner_insufficient_funds), [customer_declined](https://docs.stripe.com/declines/codes.md#customer-declined), [payment_limit_exceeded](https://docs.stripe.com/declines/codes.md#payment_limit_exceeded), and [partner_generic_decline](https://docs.stripe.com/declines/codes.md#partner_generic_decline) for applicable BLIK payment failures.

## Why is this a breaking change?

Integrations with strict decline-code handling must accept `code_invalid`, `code_expired`, `insufficient_funds`, `customer_declined`, `payment_limit_exceeded`, and `partner_generic_decline`. Previously, API versions before Endive received `generic_decline`.

## Impact

You now receive specific decline codes for applicable BLIK payment failures. Update your error handling to support `code_invalid`, `code_expired`, `insufficient_funds`, `customer_declined`, `payment_limit_exceeded`, and `partner_generic_decline`.
