# Adds DELETE method support to the Batch API

## What’s new

The [Batch Jobs v2](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/core/batch-jobs.md?api-version=2026-04-22.preview) API now supports the `DELETE` HTTP method in addition to the existing `POST` method support. You can now use the `DELETE` method when creating batch operations through the [endpoint.http_method](https://docs.stripe.com/api/v2/core/batch-jobs/create.md?api-version=2026-04-22.preview#v2_create_batch_jobs-endpoint-http_method) parameter, which previously only supported `POST` operations.

## Impact

You can now create batch jobs that perform `DELETE` operations on Stripe resources. This is useful for bulk operations like canceling multiple subscriptions at once. If you’re currently performing individual `DELETE` operations that could benefit from batching, you can now group them into a single batch request to help improve efficiency and reduce the number of API calls.

The change is additive and doesn’t affect existing batch operations that use the `POST` method.
