# Adds payment method-level support for configuring future usage of crypto payment methods in Checkout Sessions ## What’s new Adds the ability to override the Checkout Session top-level future usage setting for [crypto payments](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/stablecoin-payments.md) by adding the [setup_future_usage](https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/create.md?api-version=2026-03-25.dahlia#create_checkout_session-payment_method_options-crypto-setup_future_usage) parameter to the `payment_method_options.crypto` hash of Checkout Sessions. ## Impact You can now specify that you don’t intend to reuse a [crypto payment method](https://docs.stripe.com/payments/stablecoin-payments.md) when configuring a Checkout Session by setting the crypto-specific [setup_future_usage](https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/create.md?api-version=2026-03-25.dahlia#create_checkout_session-payment_method_options-crypto-setup_future_usage) parameter to `none`.
