# Tax Associations now always return the list of attempted tax transactions

## What’s new

The [tax_transaction_attempts](https://docs.stripe.com/api/tax/associations/object.md?api-version=2025-11-17.preview#tax_association_object-tax_transaction_attempts) property provides the list of attempted tax transactions for the associated payment. This property is now always returned with [TaxAssociations](https://docs.stripe.com/api/tax/associations.md?api-version=2025-11-17.preview).

Tax Associations allow you to track tax committed through the [Payment Intent](https://docs.stripe.com/tax/payment-intent.md) integration.

## Impact

This change ensures you can reliably access tax transaction attempt information when retrieving Tax Associations. You no longer need to handle cases where this property might be missing.
