# Credit grants can now be applied to specific prices

## What’s new

When you [create a credit grant](https://docs.stripe.com/api/billing/credit-grant/create.md?api-version=2025-02-24.acacia#create_billing_credit_grant-applicability_config-scope-price_type), you can now define the [scope](https://docs.stripe.com/api/billing/credit-grant/create.md?lang=curl&api-version=2025-02-24.acacia#create_billing_credit_grant-applicability_config-scope) of credit grants to cover a list of specific `prices` or a [price_type](https://docs.stripe.com/api/billing/credit-grant/create.md?api-version=2025-02-24.acacia#create_billing_credit_grant-applicability_config-scope-price_type) to apply to the credit grant. You must specify either `prices` or `price_type` when you create the credit grant. Currently, you can only specify metered prices in the `prices` list and only `metered` is supported for the `price_type`.

## Impact

This change enables granular control over which prices a credit grant can apply to. The new fields allow you to retrieve a balance summary for all credit grants that apply to a given list of prices.
