# Accounts in many countries now require specifying capabilities at creation time ## What’s new In the Accounts API, the `requested_capabilities` property is now required at creation time for accounts in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
