# Retrieve an Account

Retrieves the details of an Financial Connections `Account`.

## Returns

Returns an `Account` object if a valid identifier was provided, and raises [an error](https://docs.stripe.com/api/financial_connections/accounts/retrieve.md#errors) otherwise.
